The Domes de Miage has to be high on any european ski mountaineers hit list. Always an adventure and with epic terrain to get inspired for. Access is more traditional than most european ski mountaineering objectives meaning there aren't really any ways to get mechanical uplift to get to the huts. That being said if you are going there early in the ski touring season you could use the lift system in les contamines to get a ways into the valley and approach the Tre la Tête Refu

The Bonatti Couloir on the Petit Mont Blanc tucked in the top corner of the Italian Alps is a true European classic. This deep, north east facing, 1000m / 3000' couloir looks square onto the gigantic west face of Mont Blanc (often referred to as the himalayan face) giving a superb ambiance and often holding good snow due to its sheltered nature. It should be high up on any adventurous skiers list but at the grade of 5.2 it's still a serious undertaking! Truly this is the God

Something I've realised from kicking this project off is I need a system to judge whether or not these lines are actual classics or not. Well luckily for us there is such a system that already exists.. This is Cody Townsend fifty + scale and it's a great way to do this so this is the same system I'll be using to judge if its a classic or not. Total: 30 Points in total. This might just be the best ski mountaineering route in the Aiguilles Rouges but for some this traverse might not be that appealing... it's heavy on the mountaineering and perhaps less so on the skiing but hear me out on this one... This is one of the best in the area and there are some really good descent options from the summit.
